By creating an account or using Sentin (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Dutchtide Studios, the operator of Sentin.
Sentin monitors the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) trademark database for new filings that may conflict with trademarks you have registered in the app. When a potential conflict is detected, Sentin sends you an alert by email and displays it in your dashboard.
Sentin is a monitoring and alerting tool. It does not provide legal advice. Opposition filings, legal strategy, and any decisions about your intellectual property remain entirely your responsibility.
Sentin makes no guarantee that:
The opposition window at EUIPO is 3 months from the publication date. You are solely responsible for filing any opposition before this deadline. Sentin is a tool to help you become aware of potential conflicts, not a substitute for legal counsel.
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are shown in euros excluding applicable VAT. You can cancel at any time via the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no refunds are issued for the remainder of a period already paid.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
The free tier provides limited access to the Service for evaluation purposes. Free tier users are limited to 1 trademark slot and cannot receive email alerts. Daily automated scans run for all users; manual scans via the dashboard are available on all plans. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.
You agree not to:
The Service, its design, and its code are owned by Dutchtide Studios. Trademark data displayed in the Service is sourced from the EUIPO public database and remains the property of EUIPO and the respective applicants.
Your trademark names and uploaded logos remain your property. By uploading them, you grant us a limited licence to store and use them solely to provide the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dutchtide Studios is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed opposition deadlines, loss of trademark rights, or reliance on AI-generated content.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@sentin.tech. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
